In the past, Lazy Magnolia has offered one brewery tour per week Saturday at 10:30 AM. Due to state law, these tours could not include samples. Visitors were given a list of establishments that served their beers. With the new sampling law going into affect July 1, Mississippi breweries will now be able to offer samples as part of their tour. Lazy Magnolia is expecting the amount of people seeking tours will increase significantly due to this new law and has changed their tour schedule to allow more people to visit the brewery. Tours will be held Friday & Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 2 PM to 8 PM starting every hour on the hour. Like the past, no reservation is required; just show up.
The new law will only allow visitors to sample as part of a structured tour, and samples are limited to six 6oz pours per state law. (I am currently not sure how Lazy Magnolia will structure their sampling).
