Shock Top’s website has a slogan at the top that reads “IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD. LIVE LIFE UNFILTERED.” and has a countdown clock that says “THE WORLD ENDS IN: 174 DAYS …” (as of now). One hundred and seventy-four days from now is December 20, 2012. I know of no significance of this date.
I am not sure if we will see this in Mississippi but would assume so.
Update (7/04/12 9:52 PM):
The new brew will not be available until late fall, so distribution is still being determined. We anticipate it having distribution similar to the other Shock Top varieties, which includes Mississippi. I can confirm this closer to launch for you if you’d like to check back.
