Hoist a beer with a hearty “Cheers!”

The third annual Top of the Hops Festival in Jackson has more to celebrate than just the cold, crisp refreshment of its signature beverage. This is the first beer festival since the state beer law went into effect, raising the allowable alcohol limit from five to eight percent.

It’s the big new thing this year – high-gravity beers pouring into the state in law’s wake, said Trevor Starnes of Red Mountain Entertainment in Birmingham, event co-producer with Blue Deuce Entertainment of New Orleans.

Hops and Habanas TOTH Booth Preview

We will be the sampling point for Yazoo SUE beer. You know we are big fans of our close friends from just north of us, and they helped us launch of Growler fill program. We are looking forward to seeing you stop by and have a sample at the beerfest.

We will be serving this up to you in a Kegerator that will be Raffled Off at the end of the fest. Tickets will be $5 to win your own full sized 4.9cf  kegerator from Vissani. I upgraded a few things along the way. You will have a dual CO2 regulator ($50) and a Perlick stainless faucet ($39). I also want you to take home your own cleaning kit ($49). Also, how bout we (courtesy of Captial City Beverages) throw in a 1/6th keg of your own Yazoo SUE ($99).  That’s $636 right there.  Oh, and you can take the Yazoo tap handle home with you as well which is ….PRICELESS!!

With your ticket purchase we will give you our 16oz Hops and Habanas Stadium cup while supplies last. If you buy 2 tickets ($10) we will give the first 25 people our Hops and Habanas Pint Glass.

Not a bad deal if I do say so myself…….

Hops & Habanas is an official sponsor of Top Of The Hops Jackson Beer Festival and will have a booth and outside smoking area.

They plan to raffle off a kegerator and keg at this event.  They would also like to work with a brewery and offer samples at their booth this year.

We will have a full size kegerator that we hope to be using to dispense our selection and that kegerator will be raffled off at the end of the show. If can’t have kegs will just
do bottles like everybody else. But again, we plan on raffling off this kegerator. In addition to the kegerator they will be getting their first keg free from us.  A Micromatic beer line cleaning kit will also be provided.  Tickets will be $5 and you get a Hops and Habanas Plastic TOTH cup. For $10 you get 2 tickets and a Hops and Habanas pint glass (limited to 50).

In the past we have had t-shirts, glassware, cigars and accessories and a bunch of other selected store items for sale at our inside booth.  This year we will have clothing and some glassware but want to concentrate on the beer sampling and raffle.

Outside we have the Hops and Habanas Smoking Lounge. Tables are set up outside (under the roof) for people to smoke and it was comfortable.  We will have cigarettes, cigars, pipes and pipe tobacco, lighters, ashtrays and so forth at that booth for sale. This went over very well last year.

Don’t have a ticket to Top Of The Hops? Drop by Hops & Habanas. They are an official ticket outlet for the event.
